Continuing education for those who have previously completed the Basic Course in Water Safety and Rescue for lifeguards, swimming instructors and swimming coaches at swimming and bathing facilities.
The course is intended for individuals who plan to continue working at swimming and bathing facilities that the public has access to.
The course is taught in English.
Schedule:
November 29th: 13.00-17.00, First aid / 17.00-21.00 Rescue and skill assessment
Location: Bláskógarskóli and The swimmingpool in Laugarvatn
The aim of the continuing education course is to provide participants who have a valid certificate in Water Safety and Rescue, the opportunity to review the main subjects of Water Safety and Rescue with an emphasis on practical skills and case exercises.
Aptitude assessment according to Annex III of the regulations on hygiene in swimming and bathing facilities takes place during the course.
ATTENTION!! Participants must bring a swimsuit with them, along with a long-sleeved shirt and pants.
The course is intended for individuals who plan to continue working at swimming and bathing facilities that the public has access to.
