Stjórnvöld hafa lýst yfir neyðarstigi vegna COVID-19. Mælst er til þess að einstaklingar sem teljast til viðkvæmra hópa, einkum þeirra sem eru með undirliggjandi sjúkdóma og eldri einstaklinga að forðast margmenni. Í viðskiptavina- og starfsmannahópi Rauða krossins eru margir sem teljast til viðkvæmra hópa.

Afgreiðsla Rauða krossins er lokuð frá og með 13. mars 2020 en bent er á eftirfarandi þjónustuleiðir:

Símaver: Símvörun (570-4000) er opin frá kl. 9:00 til 16:00 mánudaga til fimmtudaga og frá kl. 9:00 til 14:30 á föstudögum.

Tölvupóstur: Hægt er að senda póst á central@redcross.is og er öllum fyrirspurnum svarað eins fljótt og auðið er.

Heimasíða Rauða krossins (www.raudikrossinn.is): Þar má finna upplýsingar um verkefni félagsins, viðburði, námskeið, netföng starfsfólks o.fl.

Sárafátækt (neyðarstyrkur): Lokað verður fyrir umsóknir í sárafátæktarsjóð um óákveðin tíma vegna neyðarstigs. Settar verða upplýsingar á heimasíðu félagsins þegar opnað verðu fyrir umsóknir. Engar undantekningar verða gerðar. Þeir sem hafa þegar sótt um styrk vegna sárafátæktar en ekki sótt kortin fá þau send heim til sín með bréfpósti

Bréfpóstur: Ef ekki er unnt að nota rafræn samskipti eða hringja er hægt að senda bréf í pósti. Einnig er bréfalúga á inngangi á hlið hússins (hjá bílastæði) þar sem hægt er að skila gögnum.

The authorities have declared emergency levels forCOVID-19. People who are vulnerable and at higher risk, especially those withunderlying illnesses and older persons, are encouraged to avoid crowds as muchas possible. Among the Red Cross staff and clients are many who would beconsidered vulnerable.

The Red Cross reception is closed as of March 13,2020, but offers the following services:

Call Center (570-4000): Open from 9 am to 4 pm Mondays to Thursdays and from9 am to 2:30 pm on Fridays.

Email:Send an email to central@redcross.is. All emails will be answered as soon as possible.

Red Cross Webside (www.raudikrossinn.is): Information about projects, events, courses,contact info for staff, etc.

Extreme poverty (sárafátækt): Applications for Extreme poverty fund have beensuspended as of 12.03.2020 for an indefinite period due to Covid-19 CivilProtection Emergency.

Applications received before that time will beprocessed and the cards will be sent by registered mail to the address statedon the application. An announcement will be posted on the Red Cross websitewhen applications are reopened.

Traditional mail: If electronic communications or calls are notpossible, you can send traditional mail. There is also a mail slot at theentrance on the side of the house (at the parking lot).

Larecepción de la Cruz Roja permanece cerrada.

Lasautoridades de Islandia han declarado el nivel de emergencia a causa del virusCOVID-19. Se recomienda a todas aquellas personas en situación vulnerable,especialmente aquellas personas con enfermedades preexistentes y personasmayores que eviten los lugares con mucha gente.

Enel caso de la Cruz Roja, existen clientes y empleados que se consideran gruposvulnerables. La recepción de la Cruz Roja permancerá cerrada a partir del 13 demarzo de 2020, pero seguirá ofreciendo los siguientes servicios:

- Servicio de atención telefónica (570-4000), este servicio atiendellamadas desde las 9 am a 4 pm de lunes a jueves y de 9 am a 2:30 pm los viernes.

- Por correo electrónico, puede enviar un correo electrónico a central@redcross.is y todas las consultasserán respondidas lo antes posible.

- Página web de la Cruz Roja (www.raudikrossin.is):la página contiene información sobre los proyectos, eventos, cursos,direcciones de correo electrónico del personal de la organización, etc.

- Las solicitudes para el fondo de emergencia se suspenderán a partir del12.03.2020 hasta nuevo aviso debido a la emergencia de protección civil por elvirus COVID-19.

Lassolicitudes recibidas antes del 12.03.2020 serán procesadas y las tarjetas seenviarán por correo certificado a la dirección indicada en lasolicitud. Se publicará un anuncio en la página web de la Cruz Roja cuandoel proceso de solicitud se vuelva a abrir.

- Si no es posible realizar comunicaciones electrónicas o llamadas, sepueden enviar Comunicaciones a través de correo ordinario. También existe unbuzón para depositar cartas en el lado de la oficina donde esta el parking.
